Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia Celebrates the Completion of its 10 Millionth Powertrain
The 1,300 employees at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia (TMMWV) facility recently had a lot of celebrating to do. This is because the plant, which manufactures engines and automatic transmissions, just completed the assembly of its 10 millionth powertrain. After starting up the operation twenty years ago, the success of the facility has grown to make it the first plant outside of Japan to accomplish such a milestone.
Toyota Chooses Stagecoach Music Festival to Unveil its New 2013 4Runner
Typically automakers attend various auto shows to reveal their new inventory, however Toyota has decided to try out a different approach. To properly unveil the fifth generation of the Toyota 4Runner the automaker will be presenting it this weekend at the 2013 Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, CA.
