Changing the world starts with small steps, and for some, a big leap. The World Green Car of 2016 is the hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai. The technology is new -- there is no guarantee of how it will stand up to a decade of use -- and fueling stations for hydrogen are sparse.

For Super Bowl XLVII, Toyota pulled out the big stops, and wowed millions of viewers with an advertisement showing the Toyota Tundra towing the nearly 300,000-pound Space Shuttle Endeavour.

The idea was, if it could haul a space shuttle, imagine what it can do for your trailer.

Immediately, however, anyone who knows the Tundra, or any full-size pickup, knows that 300,000 pounds is at least ten times more than a truck should be able to tow... and they would be right! The unmodified Tundra featured in the ad has a maximum tow rating of approximately 10,000 pounds…

You might think a truck with a million miles on the odometer would be

1. A million years old
2. Have none of its original parts left
3. Completely worthless

But you'd be wrong on all counts! Toyota owner Victor Sheppard of Louisiana racked up over a million miles in nine years on his 2007 Toyota Tundra, driving an average of 125,000 miles each year.
